Finding Your Inner Warrior

I’m so tired of hearing people talk about being overweight and not doing anything about it. Whose fault is it that you are overweight? And why have you not taken ACTION! I know people struggle with weight. I struggle with it myself. That’s why I go to the gym on my lunch break with my friends (also know as the mommy workout club). If you don’t think you can take ACTION watch the biggest loser it just might inspire you.

The statement was made to one of the contestants on the biggest loser that you are going to have to find your Inner Warrior. Which makes me ask the question, how do you find that inner warrior in the real world? I believe that finding your inner warrior can be REALLY scary, you are going to have to face your fear whatever that may be and get real with yourself. And to really be real, you can’t hide or be ashamed.

Take that first step and weigh yourself, take a picture of yourself in a sport bra and shorts (men shorts only) to see what you have become. No more hiding. It’s hard, I know, I struggle everyday when I show up to the gym. I don’t want to wear shorts because of the cellulite on my legs, I constantly worry about what other people are thinking about me, and not being able to keep up in the class.

Warriors feel the fear… they just learn to face it. I’m beginning to feel my inner warrior at the gym. I have to dig deep some days to make it, but I love the support I get from all my girls in the class that inspires me each day. I know one day I’ll have that lake-beach body that I have always wanted.

Everyone has a warrior within; you just have to tap into that strength.
