A Friend of mine sent me this article. It really hit home with me and I thought you working mommies would enjoy it.

No Food-All Sleep
Yesterday, Bradley turned 4 months old and he slept through the night without me getting up to feed him!!! YEAH!!!!! I'm so excited! I was not sure if he was ever going to sleep through the night. He did get a little restless around 4 am, so I picked him and put him in the bed with me and he went back to sleep.

Redneck Waders
I'm sitting a work yesterday and I see this e-mail come through that says Redneck Waders. I think it is just going to be one of those funny redneck e-mails that you get. WELL, It was funny alright because I know everyone in the pictures. I called my husband to find out what in the world they were doing. He began telling me that the loading dock drain was clogged and that someone was going to have to get in the water to unclog it and of course know one wanted to get wet. SO he went and found buckets for Kenneth to put on his feet. (Is this not cleaver or what?)
Are your feet hurting in those buckets?

Bouncey Horse From September 23, 2009
On September 23, 2009 I picked Bradley up from School (Day care) and they asked me if I had been putting Bradley in a jumper. I told them no, but I had one. They told me they had put him in the one at school and he loved it. So I went home and put his together, but he could not touch the floor. I had to put a book under his feet. You'll have to watch the video!
Attempted Carrots
On October 6, 2009 we attempted to feed Bradley Carrots. To say the least I don't think he really cared for them. He made terrible faces when we put the spoon up to his mouth. I have to say they don't smell very good.

THE GYM
I decided that after 3 months of not being able to get the baby weight off to join the gym. Sharon, my co-work, and I went to the gym today on our lunch break! We worked out on the cardio machines for about 30 minutes. I feel so go about myself for doing this and yes, we went back to work sweaty. I don't know about the rest of you ladies that have babies or kids, but I was having a hard time finding the time to work out in the afternoons, so lunch seemed to be the solution. I'll try to keep you updated on our progress.

Daycare
Monday was an extremely sad day, because I had to go back to work and leave my little man at daycare. This was the first time I had really left him with anyone. It's so hard to let someone you really don't know take care of your baby. I made it through the day with the support of what I call the Mom club/Mom to be club. Several girls took me out to lunch trying to get my mind off of the daycare thing. Each day it gets a little easier, but at the end of the day all I want to do is pick him up, love him, and stare into his beautiful little eyes.

Boating
On Saturday July 25 we took Bradley out on the Boat for the first time. We went to the BAT cave on lake Guntersville. Bradley enjoyed the ride in the boat, but hated it when we stopped moving. When we stopped he got all red faced and screamed until we started going again. I honestly think he just didn't like the life jacket and got to hot wearing it. I had to borrow the life jacket from my niece for him. Poor thing it was pink and lime green- he looks like a girl in it. I'm sure he will be mad at me for these pictures someday.

Blood Work
While at the Beach we received a phone call from the pediatricians office. They told us that one of the test that they ran on Bradley came back abnormal and that we needed to bring him back in. The test that came back adnormal is called Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia (CAH). The Dr. thinks that this test came back as a False Postive result due to the heat. After going back to the Dr. yesterday for another heel stick, we will not know the results for two weeks. Please keep Bradley in your thought and prayer.

Getting Closer
On Monday morning I went in for my weekly doctors appointment. My Dr. is leaving to go out of town on June 19th and I really want her to deliver my baby and not some random doctor that I don't know. So if everything goes as planned and I have some change on Monday at my next visit she is going to induce me on Thursday, June 18! I'm so excited! Please keep your fingers crossed that she is willing to induce next Thursday.

Baby Shower for Bradley!
John and I are so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends. Before the baby shower we had absolutely NO baby stuff and now I feel like if Bradley were to come tomorrow we could survive with no problem. John stayed at the shower the entire time with me and helped entertain everyone. The highlight was when John received his “MAN BAG” that he showed off to everyone!

Guineas
The day before my baby shower I was in Bradley’s rooming cleaning all my stuff out of the room and getting it ready for all the NEW baby stuff, because I knew that we would have lots of stuff to put up. While cleaning I started hearing these strange noises coming from outside, so I looked out the window and found that we had several Guineas running through our yard. Below are some photographs that I took of them.
